What is UNGC (United Nations Global Compact)?
UNGC (United Nations Global Compact) provides the framework for combining corporate strategy in diversified
fields of human rights, labor, and environment, with 10 principles of Global Compact. UNGC is the biggest
voluntary company-citizen initiative in the world,
composed of thousands of members from more a hundred countries.

The objective of UNGC in general is to offer social rationality of the company and global market, and to enhance
it further.

The companies who joined in Global Company share the principle of prospering and improving global economy and society in more stable, fair, and comprehensive way, through the corporate strategy and social belief based on the global principle. 

UNGC is a voluntary initiative with two goals.

- To generalize 10 principles into the global management practice
- To promote fulfillment of UN agenda, such as Millennium Development Goals (MDG)

What is In-House System?

It refers to the direct fulfillment of the entire production process, from the warehousing stage of the materials to the releasing stage of the product, without outsourcing.

In-House system of the company over a certain size of CAPA (Production Capacity) guarantees the output and quality safety, and makes it possible to reduce cost by saving unnecessary margin which can occur through outsourcing and distribution cost. In addition, customer opinion can be reflected immediately, so it is possible for faster improvement or expansion of the product.

Samduk Tongsang can provide the product with the most rational price to the customer without the accumulation of margin, which can occur when outsourcing each stage of the process, as we have technology and facilities to fulfill the entire operation. Moreover, communication with the customer regarding the product is unified that we can give more rapid and accurate feedback. Samduk Tongsang can provide stronger and healthier shoes to our customers by going through properties and medical test.

Compound

Rubber of every sole, with various strength, elasticity, and durability, for shoe manufacture is mixed & blended internally. Compounding of Samduk Tongsang guarantees uniform standards and outstanding quality.

Phylon / Injection Phylon

Rubber, produced from internal compounding of raw materials, is to be processed. All the parts of the sole are internally produced to lower the cost. Through feedback process, which reflects customer’s opinion immediately, the sole with perfect quality is being produced.

Heat Seal / Screen Printing

All the process, including high frequency sealing of logo and extraneous matters, shading of material, and printing, is performed internally. Any possibility of color difference or quality imbalance for each order which could occur during the process of outsourcing is eliminated.

Shoe-Making

The complete product is manufactured through the process of adhesion, heat treatment, cooling, and finishing.
Samduk Tongsang goes through strict complex test and property experiment, and the products with same quality with the sample are to be released.

 

Gore-Tex production is only allowed at the factories who signed a license contract for manufacture with Gore.

As a brand license company, Samduk is perfectly managing what is needed to for the optimum function of Gore-Tex clothes and shoes, such as seam taping, design, subsidiary material management, and manufacture technology.

Gore-Tex, comprised of more than 90 billion minute holes for 1 sq. inch, is definitely the best water resistant, moisture permeable, and wind preventing material in existence of the Earth. Its membrane completely prevents moisture, such as rain and snow, from outside, and excretes vapor (sweat) of the body out immediately.

With its outstanding water resistant and moisture permeable function in any climatic condition, it always feels pleasant. There is no damage on function from frequent washing due to its strong durability.
For perfect water resistance, we used seam sealing method for processing, which completely sews every stitch line.

Gore-TXT Footwear functions the best regardless of the geographical or surface condition. Booty of socks shape covers the foot completely, blocks out water from outside, while excretes sweat of the foot out.
