대림산업이 베트남에서 1억 3800만 달러 규모의 항만 조성공사를 수주했다. 제마링크 항만 공사는 베트남의 제마뎁(GEMADEPT)社(70%)와 프랑스의 터미널링크社(30%)가 공동 발주한 공사로, 베트남 호치민 남동쪽 붕타우 지역에 32.5ha(약10만평)규모의 터미널과 선착장(800m)을 건설하는 프로젝트다.

대림산업(51%)과 삼환기업(49%)이 조인트벤쳐 형태로 수행하는 제마링크 항만공사는 오는 7월 5일 착공해, 39개월의 공사기간을 거쳐 2013년 10월 4일 준공될 예정이다.

대림산업은 과거 1975년 베트남에서 철수하기까지 미국 국제개발처(USAID)와 미 해군시설처(OICC)에서 발주한20여 건의 공사를 수행한 바 있으며, 이번 공사를 계기로 35년 만에 베트남 시장에 다시 진출한다. 싱가포르에 이은 이번 베트남 진출을 통해 국내사업 위주였던 토목사업을 동남아 시장 중심의 해외토목 사업으로 확대하는 발판을 마련했다
